			<description>“Arm Yourself With Knowledge”:

Investigator Lila Boor of the Howard County Office of Consumer Affairs and Pfc. Holly Burnham of the Howard County Police Department will make the following presentations. as part of Howard County's "Arm Yourself With Knowledge" program. The session will be held at Historic Oakland, 5430 Vantage Point Road, Columbia, Maryland or Slayton House, 10400 Cross Fox Lane, Columbia, Maryland. 

The presentations will begin at 10:00 a.m. and will take approximately 1 hour. Light refreshments will follow the presentation. This is a free event. Call 410-730-4744 to register for these events, which is co-sponsored by the Town Center Community Association and the Wilde Lake Community Association.

Columbia Resident: $35.00
Non-Columbia Resident: $39.00
Per child, NON-REFUNDABLE 
Siblings: 1/2 price for second child 

Meet other parents with young children in a relaxed atmosphere allowing for easy interaction between parents and children. A parent or adult guardian must attend the play group with their child.

**Sessions do not meet the week of November 25-27.</description>

The 19th century charm of Oakland manor is an ideal setting for this event. Enjoy cider and cookies while strolling through the manor in search of beautiful hand-crafted gifts. Juried.
